    I recorded a song on my friend's microphone and I like how the song came out. I refuse to record it again and wanted to send the files to my engineer so he can mix and master it.

    you can mix anything. whether it will sound good or not is another question i suppose

    Srsly u should get used to recording again

    It's songs I got with 30-40 vocal takes

    It's a great habit, some people one take Jake but it's very rare for someone to do that well

    you really think so? sometimes recordings in older takes capture a certain vibe or essence that becomes hard to re-create later on

    I feel this, but deadass u jus gotta figure out when to record so u always putting that genuine energy into the verse. Do 5 takes, take a few days off come back, cus I swear if the recording not damn near perfect u gonna be stuck at a certain level. Like u ever listen to a drake or kendrick album, it's no lines that don't hit right or issues with recording quality
