You can like whatever you want. The real question is, how much can you ACTUALLY relate to the subject matter?
how much do you really need to personally relate to something to enjoy/appreciate it though?
all day being someones fav kanye song
the live performance is better then the actual song

Nahhhh different vibe all together, wash us in the blood heavily relies on the sample
Considering Kanye has about 100 songs that are better in his discography yes
Black midhead

Awful post
Nah nah nah and all day are both dope hype songs but not what the people wanted at the time.
Perfect for the Gym tho

I was at a bar on a random Wednesday 3 years ago waiting for the train having some wings & beer. “All Day” came on and I got so stoked, totally forgot how great the track was. Started getting visions of the UK performance and all I wanted to do was start rapping and going wild but yea I can’t censor myself that well. Epic moment tho. Epic beat and features in the background. Underrated.

I can't enjoy music/film if I can't relate to it
If you’re white and you haven’t learned how to just simply not say the n word, what the f*** is wrong with you?
Also I thought this thread was about All Mine at first which would be way funnier

damn thats kind of a crazy idea to me ngl. i appreciate hearing perspectives that are very different from mine (ie super old music, different cultures) and also music that isn't very focused on lyrics at all.
do you not enjoy any music that's less lyrically focused where there's less to relate to in general? like fully instrumental music like jazz or something. no crazy movies like sci fi or fantasy or anything that seems way too different from your life?
