    Synopsis

any discussion that attempts to "find some middle ground" is genuinely stupid af.

The name just doesn’t make any sense for the kind of “debates” they have on their channel
Like how the f*** are scientists supposed to find middle ground with flat earthers

What's so bad about finding compromise?

what great victories have been won out of compromise?

compromise has always been pretty much been aimed towards the left.

this is what compromise looks like in practical terms

ideological position 1: everyone should have the right to a home
ideological position 2: no one has a right to a home
compromise: some ppl should have a home

the two positions are not equal in merit. they don't deserve to be treated as such

    another example is

group 1 : we want to commit genocide (for instance)
group 2: we want no genocide
compromise: how about some genocide? :)

It doesn't really end with some kind of compromise.

Jubliee is more about giving everyone a chance to speak, even when they flat out wrong or ignorant.

The Middle Ground series specifically more so just shows neither side is in a complete binary as some people will agree to statements that support the opposing side.

    just get over it 4head

man this video is very disappointing.

Jubilee has good concepts but the execution is ass because it's always surface level questions + not enough time to discuss.

I'm also tired of hearing from Black Conservatives anyway.

Why would you want flat out ignorant people to voice their opinion, and present it as “the other side of the argument”?

Where do you draw the line? Would you want to give a platform to someone arguing that other races are sub human? Or someone arguing that pedophilia should be legalised?

any black person that says we need to get over slavery needs to be thrown off a cliff
slavery built generational wealth while blacks were left to fend for themselves post slavery

    Jubilee thinks they're being enlightening.

That "I'm an loser AMA" video was ridiculous. I agree with you tbh certain people don't need a platform.

It's ok if you're bored, sometimes they'll have people who give good responses.

The spectrum series is better than middle ground. Their new ep of Satanists vs Major religions was good though.

Need some of ktt's Caucasians to comment. Low-key curious to see what their genuine opinion on this is despite how controversial it may be

european white dude here, lived in LA for two years tho. i think most people in the US arent racist anymore, but the one’s who are, are really f***ing racist and sometimes dangerous.
black people shouldnt forget about slavery, but i did feel like “the culture” especially twitter, is too focused on being outraged by s*** and conmecting it to slavery, when there is mad injustice done thats actually happening in the 21st century. like dudes will be on a company’s ass cause they put a black baby in a monkey pajama, but nobody gives a f*** that ghettos are filled with black people only, and theres d**** and violence ravaging those communities.
dont forget the past, but dont let it control you.
people will s*** on me for being a “cac”, but im greek, and my people were enslaved for hundreds of years as well. we need to move on bro.

Oh god I haven’t seen that one.

Its just so frustrating cos they’re creating “debates” that don’t exist - “is the earth round or flat” is not a legit question cos it’s got such a f***ing obvious answer.

    I really despair man 😫

There is a lot wrong here.

Comparing slavery anywhere else in the world to U.S. slavery + saying most people aren't racist anymore probably the worst.

How black people are treated is directly tied to slavery.

  • Apr 14, 2020

it didn’t just end with slavery why does everyone neglect to mention this

up until the civil rights era it was all completely s*** for most black Americans and that’s an incredibly long time

how can it be wrong when its my opinion?
and why cant i compare slavery to slavery?
thats how i felt people were. i was married to a black woman, and the only people who ever attacked us for being interracial were black men, which happened multiple times. white people never caused me or my ex trouble
most black people were really nice tho. i expected americans in general to be way more sensitive cause of the way people act online, but thank god most are just chill people trying to live their life that dont get outraged at everything
s*** is way different here in germany g. you get denied entry into a club if you got black hair and a beard cause they dont f*** with foreigners at all. in the US youd get tf sued out of you for that.
imo the racism executed by the system is the real problem, most americans are really accepting and open (in california at least)
and over here the system is fairer, but a lotta people are very casually racist
youre american no matter what you look like, but here even if you got a german passport and were born there, you’ll always be a foreigner
