I often wonder if I can still make it with music, but after my 28th birthday, it kinda dawned on me that I have no motion/prospects.
I know my music is original/I have carved my own style, and yet I wonder.
I guess what I wanna know is...you think the game could accept a rapper in their late 20's/early 30's?

i urge anyone to watch this video when you have this feeling of being too old to chase your dreams

Pop off as a streamer then pivot to music like all the others
Danny Brown’s whole schtick a decade ago was being old and now 12 years later it doesn’t even register
I'm 34 and nobody started paying attention to my music in any capacity until last year. If you have time to dedicate to your art, you have a good product and people like you, you'll find your space in the industry. A lot of people around me making music in LA are my age or older and they keep plugging away at it because they love it and wouldn't be doing anything else regardless of the results. That's where your mind has to be.
nah but u gotta be that much better to stand out cus they looking for young talent ideally
