Sounds like the name of the album tbh
I mean ppl saying times passed & it won’t be good now but I don’t see how
Drake still at the top & Wayne been rapping his ass off
in all honesty, they can benefit from each other now more than ever
Drake would step it up lyrically & Wayne can use a hit or two again
They shoulda did when Ye and Jay made WTT that would’ve been a moment
Lmao ye and hov stole the idea of a joint album from drake and wayne and they scrapped the collab album to avoid comparisons
Drake respons to wtt:
"We still got to do that album," Drake said about his Lil Wayne project. "I heard some other guys are coming out with an album, too. There's two other rappers that are coming out with an album together... I don't know where they got that idea."
Lines up with Kanye saying they only made WTT cause Drake was putting too much pressure on them

They can definitely do it but I don’t think the momentum is the same especially for Wayne. Collab albums work best when the two artist are in their prime ie WTT, Drake/Future..
Drake been in his prime for a decade tho. He can do it with anyone and it’ll dominate the charts

hov wasn't in his prime back then

Eh he was kinda in a revamped prime during that time. Shifting into his more socially conscious mode.
Jay Z is one of the few rappers in history that’s had extended primes. Kanye and Drake are the others

blueprint 3 is literally his worst album
B.B. King Freestyle wasn't that long ago so no it's not too late. It will probably be better now than if it came out too early. Drake is in his prime and Wayne still hasn't lost his touch
seeing green and YOLT even more recent
If Drake picks out the beats and wayne stops using that whiny, out of breath flow it’d be dope
Whiny out of breath flow?
No they can both still kill it however I wish it happened in 2014 Believe Me and Grindin were cool

also his vocals hit an all-time low between 2009 and 2013, ye completely outshined him on wtt

And I think even he’d agree with you. After that album he dropped wtt then magna carter (another horrible album) but then 4:44 is a 2010’s hip hop essential.
Jay was everywhere from 1999 to 2016 despite the garbage he dropped from time to time

Drake couldn't keep up if wayne picked the beats 🤣

Not disagreeing with you im just saying Jay was considered best rapper in the game for almost 20 years default.
Remember mtv did that stupid ass best rapper of the year award? Every year he was on top despite either not releasing or putting out garbage.
This was originally just Wayne & Drake
!https://youtu.be/_Q7rcUm0DroSome of their other recent collabs
!https://youtu.be/PjqKPHZJgF0!https://youtu.be/hKuDtkSLVm8!https://youtu.be/ZeNwB4lNojs!https://youtu.be/x6Nr6EX3AwYIf 5 years ago you told me drake would have a project with 21 savage I would have laughed, not to mention a dope project that was well received by both boomers and zoomers alike.
When I look at songs like BB King, Seeing Green, YOLT, all of which are great rap songs to me, I wonder if the issue is that Drake feels like it would just be an album of old man deep cuts without anything that feels like a fun viral memeable hit that connects with the younger audiences.
We know that Weezy stays in the studio and would jump at the chance to do a full album with Drake, so why hasn’t it happened? I have a hard time believing its schedules. Has the ship sailed? Or should we just be happy with the 25 songs they have done together.
not really
I don't think Wayne would want to do it anymore though
he would have been more excited about it in like 2011-2015
