Only recently I found out how coke is everywhere. Before I was naive and thought it was just some TV s*** but a few months ago I've come to find out how prevalent it is. I'm not against d**** altogether, but thinking about how all the coke people use comes from cartels that behead women and s***, it doesn't sit right with me. I know the responsibility shouldn't be on consumers but I just see these socially progressive, privileged white kids and vegan chicks who do coke as big hypocrites with blood on their hands.
Am I thinking too deep about this? I don't wanna resent people who do coke but I just see it as very unethical considering people have died just so you can get high for a bit
Nah you’re right. People will say other examples of unethical consumption but at least there’s some degree of accountability with companies. D*** suppliers do not give af
People die for every and anything every day. If it wasn’t coke it would be weed, squashes, potatoes, or a b****. Life goes on 🤷🏾♂️
You probably have an iPhone right? Wait til you find out where that came from
Just because we can't mitigate all harm doesn't mean we shouldn't in some areas. And it's way easier to not do coke than to give up your phone but I see why you're saying

My point is that women have been beheaded in the process of getting that coke to the nose of some corporate f***wit, its unethical to consume

If coke was legal we could get it from more ethical people

The clothes on your back were likely made by a Chinese slave chained to their post
Imagine not sniffing usda organic, pesticide free, certified humane cocaine powder in 2020

Crimes used to be committed over alcohol during prohibition but now we can get it from anywhere

You’re also helping that Bolivian farmer make ends meet so he can feed and clothe his kids until the next harvest by that logic. What set of ethical practices do you propose become the standard so coke users can feel at ease consuming?
It's stupid to do.
