drake naming an album after me would be cool

No, but I was wondering recently if he'd ever do a trilogy/chapter type thing and name a future album after a previous one.

Jay (Blueprint series), Em (Marshall Mathers 1/2), Wayne (Carter series), etc have done it.

I really feel like the only way to reverse the negative connotation that comes with IYRTITL would be to do a sequel, same style, hard bars and write it all himself

It’s the only project of his that follows the lines of being a series. Surprise drop a mixtape every few years type thing. And I really feel like he could remove one of the only stains in his career by doing so

No because that’s boring as s***. The closest we’ll get is Scorpion which is named after his astrological sign

Feel like it was more popular in the old days, especially with like R&B

In for a R&b grown and sexy album titled Aubrey

Self-titling an album is boring, corny, and lazy as hell

Self titles are kinda stupid unless you have an interesting name like The Weeknd or PartyNextDoor

This or you’re early on in your career type of thing

  • Feb 13, 2021

SFG or Scorpion were his only albums that could be self titled tbh.

What rappers even have self-titled albums?

Not an album, but Kendrick Lamar EP
