The choice to invest in ChatGPT Plus hinges upon individual requirements. The no-cost version provides fundamental capabilities, whereas the subscription variant, ChatGPT Plus, delivers advantages such as accelerated response times and precedence in accessing novel features. Assess your utilization patterns to ascertain whether these enhancements align with your preferences for an elevated user experience.

You can't go back on the 3.5 after trying out the 4.
GPT-4 has been really meh since the November (?) updates - the one where they decided to multimodal the whole thing and go back to 40 messages every three hours, but it's still very efficient, especially compared to 3.5

It sounds like you've had some experience with both GPT-3.5 and GPT-4. It's interesting to hear your perspective on the changes, particularly the shift to multimodal capabilities. While GPT-4 may have its drawbacks, it's good to hear that it's still efficient for your needs.

maybe, but id make sure your laziness isnt something you can already solve by better adjusting your prompts or custom instructions

  • Feb 13, 2024

but both versions will be useless if you want to make essays with it

you're better off asking small questions and going from there on your own, if you don't know where to start with, rather than simply asking it to write it in its entirety

  • Feb 13, 2024

you're just not using it right

  • Feb 13, 2024

bought plus for a month and i barely use it. it has some good plugins like webpilot or consensus search so if you use it daily it’s probably worth it. message limit sucks tho

yeah would need more information from @op but i find that you wouldn't be able to ask it to write 3 essays for xyz in a single prompt and expect good results. i do wonder how different it is from gpt 4 though

The trick is to give it a list of the points you wanna make or write a summary of your thoughts and just say turn this into a paper

I dont use chatgpt for anything other than making memes for my friends. the other day I asked it to write a pretentious pharrell-style quip about why hes friends with nigo about exploring creativity or some other made up f*** s*** like that and the ai did a pretty good job
