People should be cool to express themselves however they feel fulfillment as long as it's not inciting violence or anything but my opinion on this type of performative faith is Matthew 6:5-8

people are using views from 500-2000 years ago to describe the world today. most people today who do practice religion end up doing something regularly/often that goes against that religion anyways, so there's a lot of hypocrisy they don't wanna admit to or just remain willfully ignorant.
