J.cole isnt a critically acclaimed artist and alot of his detractors point out his corny bars

But out of the big 3 he easily treats his fanbase the best, he does a good job running his label, and has not beef with anyone in the industry (besides Kanye) if you dont like him as an artist you probably like him as a person

j cole is the prime example of a gateway d***eating artist, a lot of people who have an entry level music taste latch on to him and act like he’s a goat/deep as s***

i know this will come across bad but it’s the truth. Saw a video asking people on the street to choose between kendrick and cole and the people who chose cole sounded exactly how i described; and in the same breath said kendrick “babbles about nothing”

tl;dr - dont take the common person/twitter user opinion seriously when it comes to this s***
