That’s just you misinterpreting the thread then
This ain’t about musical ability, it’s about who’s the bigger commercial start right now
And uh…like I said
The gap isn’t as big as y’all think
rod wave outsold
Lil baby has the biggest album of the decade and was the number one touring act
You’re trying so hard to put this kid on his level when truth be told he’s not even close to Polo G level
Holy f***ing s*** now I’m getting annoyed
I’m not saying Jack is on the same level as Lil Baby
I’m saying the gap between isn’t as big as y’all think it is
Which superstar has taken time to blow up after big hits in the last 5-6 years tho? It was almost instant for Post Malone, Olivia, Lil Baby, Lil Uzi etc.
Jack Harlow not being able to turn Whats Poppin into a huge album signals problems
Lil Baby scored a massive hit in 2018 (Yes Indeed) on his debut album and that album is only certified Platinum (same with Jack Harlow's debut album). It wasn't until his sophomore album till he got the 4x Platinum album after he'd grown his audience.
And yes, I know that contradicts what I said on page 1 but multiple people called me out on it saying 2020 was 2 years ago and things are different.

Ya'll the same niggas who were talking about Macklemore "overtaking" Kendrick in 2013 cause more 14 year old White girls and soccer moms were blasting Thrift Shop than Backseat Freestyle.

The gap is literally like 50 RIAA certifications to 5
Entries on hot 100
Lil Baby: 98
Jack Harlow: 7

I bet, I’ll say it now
When both albums drop, and there’s a difference larger than 100K I’ll take that as an L on my part.

This is why I can’t take these non black posters seriously. they think pop rap hits are also being heavily played in our community.
Wheres Jack on here?

Ironically Lil Baby barely even grow on Spotify between those albums. 1.3b on Harder than Ever vs 1.8b on My Turn. With My Turn having about 10 more songs
i guess we're meant to believe all his fans left Spotify & signed up to Apple Music & that makes up for the 4x difference
definitely doesn't feel like AM started doing dodgy s*** around 2019

Niggas use Apple Music or YouTube over Spotify
Aren’t you the same guy who couldn’t understand why summer Walker was so popular?

So they all switched from Spotify to AM/YouTube in 2019? is that what you're telling me

spotify is showing global numbers. I would bet 90% of lil babys are from usa while Jack is probably like half.
well comparing last albums theres a 3 million gap
Yes you’re correct. Lets compare current output

AM always had the bigger rap fan audience.
So they all switched from Spotify to AM/YouTube in 2019? is that what you're telling me
No I’m saying niggas never used Spotify like that.
Out of all my friends only one had Spotify and that was cause he kept finessing free trials
Jack Harlow might experience a Post Malone-esque jump.
Stoney (December, 2016): 58k first week.
Beerbongs and Bentleys (April 2018): 461k first week.
No, Stoney ended up selling multiple millions before BB&B dropped. If Jack was gonna make a jump like that we would be seeing it already.
