With hip hop becoming the biggest genre it led to an influx of people who don’t see it as a whole culture but as just cheap entertainment that they don’t even respect artistically. This means the number of racists posting on sites like this goes through the roof.

The gentrification of black culture has always been a thing but I think hip hop is just too hard to replicate because it’s so deadly rooted in black culture
