Canceling isn’t real in this sense, no one has ever been cancelled unless they were convicted of an actual crime and did time

otherwise the person getting “cancelled” is simply just subject to a little more public outrage than usual but it never lasts or outweighs their loyal base

    Nah Dababy was DEFINITELY cancelled

  • Most people are cancelled because of sexual harassment or assault (or worst like R Kelly).
Ye is just telling dumb stuff, most people don’t care about it.

Sounds like you're kidding if you think TLOP or Blonde were bigger 2016 music talking points than Lemonade.

can’t name one song off lemonade, also 25 and views were bigger pop records

Also public service announcement: ARREST USHER IMMEDIATELY that man has broken apart multiple families and ruined lives

Mercy and Clique was the last time he had a song that was a true household hit.

    Blackskinhead came close.

Nothing on Pablo is as familiar to the everyday person as those songs. I know because I was in college during Pablo and I didn’t hear it at a single party it I wasn’t playing it myself lmfao

Yet I still hear hits from his other albums pre-Pablo

  • Not y'all coming in here to say he's not relevant

  • Everything not in the area of sexual assault you can come back from

Lemonade was the top selling album worldwide

  • Mr Bojangles

    What a goofy response.

I said 'Ye hasn't been as musically relevant as he was in '07-'09. I never said his music wasn't relevant at all after that point.

You want to talk about insane opinions, while responding to things no one actually said.

And even then, that’s still not entirely true

Hits like that I can agree but every album still has classic songs to add to his discog
Everyone knows Kanye can make incredible music
You’ll still make hits but you’re already icon status. MJ/Prince in the 90s-2000s

Usually people say this about artists that actually did something that people think they should be "cancelled" for

If Taylor started spewing alt-right s***, her fans would leave her in a millisecond lol

Lol have you seen how swifties act towards black people on the internet?

  • Mr Bojangles

Lemonade was mostly huge culturally because of the drama the album was written about. TLOP & Blonde were just as important to the music world as Lemonade was

I teach high school classes somewhat regularly and sometimes they play music during breaks, they play father stretch my hands and famous somewhat regularly

Take with that what you will

Also ghost town was a hit, so many diff kinds of people were blasting that song

  • I was absolutely donezo with him . My listening of him had dropped rapidly..wasn't even in my most listened to artists of Spotify 2023. Have a couple of pals he hurt and felt guilty listening even if I think you can separate it

However new album has sucked me back in and really liking it . We back. Until next controversy

  • him and tyler prime examples of too talented to be cancelled

    FSMH bro ..

  • OnceAgain

    FSMH bro ..

This and no matter how corny the bleached a******* line is everyone screams it live

  • He's definitely taken a crazy hit commercially/financially. It's clear this roll out was all over the place and a big part of that is people not wanting to do business with him but even so the newer fans from Pablo era onwards still support him I guess

    what artist actually got canceled

  • Feb 13
    EchiLights

Is it actually cancel or more his music just became incredibly stale

his cancelation would not have stuck if he just released better music, 100% guaranteed
