Yeah honestly. As a fan of music in all genres rap fans kind of underrate how crazy it is that Kanye has such an untainted run of truly honest music.

Kinda hard to explain but it feels like at some point most artists sort of start to compromise and stop pushing themselves to produce art that truly feels like a representation of themselves but IMO Kanye has been true to his artistic vision his entire career and if anything has gotten better at expressing himself.

Obviously to people, and Drake stans, who just see music as like a commodity, they might not see this angle. But it’s definitely there for those who appreciate the journey and message of artists.

Exactly right. And do people not realize that all of the most genius and groundbreaking artists that are also prolific have down periods? Or creative luls or put out bad work or have a scandal or have periods of negativity from the audience? And then a lot of times they put out great late career work. It’s hard to sustain being so great for so long and not go crazy or not start having some misfires. Kanye is 44, the artistic journey is long from over, as well as the personal journey. I don’t wanna hear no lazy boring KTT2 mf saying Kanye’s legacy is ruined when they listen to Yeat or some s*** or whatever’s poppin at the moment, short minded Napoleon ass dudes.
