Kendrick is a great ARTIST. He's arguably the GOAT hip hop solo artist not named Kanye.

But rapper? Nah. I have Kendrick high for being able to juggle rapping well and putting out great projects.

But, bar for bar, even Ludacris and T.I. in the 2000's have better bars than him and would smoke him on a song if he blew up back then.

It really just depends on what you want out of a rapper. I value discography and creativity as much as skills, so Kendrick is still top 10 for me.

Ludicrous, Wayne, Lupe and Em in their prime would legitimately out rap Kendrick. People think greatest rapper is just lyrics but there's flow, charisma and techniques that Kendrick is missing

Saying “he’s not even the best lyricist” isn’t relevant though, he can still be the best rapper without being the best lyricist

Next few albums will decide but he’s on the path for sure

Not mad at that tbh I think both are 10/0, masterpieces in their own right. His early life I his new life. I also consider DAMN amazing too.

He isn't and I'm one of the biggest stans on the board. A great rapper and an even better conceptual artist, but it's too early to call him the GOAT.

I think he could get there though if he continues releasing classics every 3-4 years into his old age. Few have done that. Imagine him dropping an album as good as 4:44 at age 47 but without any misses beforehand.

He's one of the best artists on the planet in any genre and has a superb discography. But right now I just want him back to see what he's cooking up. It's definitely an event every time he drops.
