Kendrick makes great album concepts but after GKMC, he’s had trouble selecting production that interests me, as well as keeping his flows filled with energy

Just cut the bullshit for one second. Kendrick is a phenomenal talent man. If it wasn’t for that he’d would’ve been a dirty lil Compton nigga somewhere man. Nigga really come from that bullshit fr. He more so cut from that Hov, Nas, Pac, cloth than Drake and Cole. If he ain’t make it God knows where he’d be. Ain’t no formula or no industry s*** behind his music. Man been being true to himself growing and healing in real-time while also rapping at the highest level and ensembling teams of producers, musicians, and engineers that execute his creative vision at the highest level EVERY TIME HE DROPS. The world recognizes and gives him his flowers for it AS THEY SHOULD. His peers respect him. Critics, casuals, hip-hop heads, music nerds, the hoes, kids, grandparents… they all respect him and appreciate his creativity.

The only people who don’t are contrarians that usually default to hating anything everyone else likes and Drake stans who are envious of the near universal acclaim he gets while Drake gets panned and taken for granted. I think Drake is Massively underrated as an artist and if I was running things he’d have acclaim for what he does too but that ain’t got s*** to do with Kendrick.

If you can’t respect what Kendrick does you either have massive clots of hate in your blood or your ear is just trash. You don’t have the ability to appreciate the intricacies of his rhyme schemes or concepts or of the musicality of the production so you be lost and you blame him when it’s really y’all tasteless asses.

Rap where the depth of the lyrics and what the artist is saying is a significant part of what they are offering, as opposed to someone like Uzi Vert and Carti where its more about the vibe
