the mr morale tour produced hype on social media w/ tiktok ig vids etc but even those were mostly either baby keem tracks or like backstreet freestyle
is kendrick washed?
I think there is some truth to him losing a bit of hype since DAMN / Black Panther but it's still early to say
The Big Steppers didn't feel like a "moment" like his previous albums did
Still a great project though
Doubt it, but to me he’s very close to reaching that ceiling of an artist that’s already delivered enough good music for me to not be interested in future releases like that.
Man made one 8/10 album and gets 3 hate threads a week
Wouldnt call that forgotten more like ur pathetic
Bruh just had a successful international tour
what kind of convo is this
Rolling Stones had succesful tours for 2/3 of their career, even long after the last time they put out any notable music.
Just like many other artists who manage to sell out arenas as legacy acts no more being relevant "in the moment".
@op tryna get the next 60 page thread I respect it
He's gonna need to drop 2 duds in a row for me to say he's washed but MMATBS was a massive miss, made more noticable because it was his first album in 5 years and the follow-up to DAMN, his most mainstream/successful album yet.
He can definitely bounce back on his next album but if he takes another 5 years to drop that, it won't matter.
