LA is not overrated. I can drive 1 hour to the peak of a mountain and see inches upon inches of snow. Then drive 2 hours down from there to see the beach.
Not to mention the good restaurants, whether you want cheap food or expensive food,
The women are hot and there’s a lot of variety.
Diversity here is amazing.
There’s something for pretty much everybody. Sporting events, concerts, bars, clubs, shopping, hiking, the list goes on.
I didn’t even mention the weather where it’s sunny most of the year

candacethe weather is horrible here, most of our beaches are near toxic levels of radiation, all the wildlife is gone, people are getting shot left and right on a daily basis

It’s not the cities fault everyone wants to live there. If a city is too great and has too much to offer, of course it’s gonna be expensive.
Imagine paying the same to live in LA vs Oklahoma. Of course everyone given the choice would choose LA

Soo DiffVegas is a hot af. It's the epitome of a weekend city. You go there for a weekend you party your brains out and then you go home. It's the last place a person like me wants to be living i would lose my soul there.
I live in Miami, everything you said about Vegas applies here, and is arguably even worse in some ways.

Love these kinda threads about LA so people will be less inclined to move here
We got enough people already.It’s not like I actually want to move there, I just might have to to make my chosen career work. There are only a couple of other places that can offer me the same but arguably none offer them to the degree LA does.
What needs to happen is that other cities need to step their game up basically stop letting LA monopolize the entertainment industry for example, which is happening in Atlanta with its burgeoning film industry, I’m pondering Atlanta mad hard tbh. I’m white but I don’t think that’ll make a difference, there’s a wide racial variety especially within the creative community in Atlanta.
