People heard Jarreau Of Rap and didn’t even give LT2 a fair listen

Jarreau of Rap is easy to make fun of, but I don't think it's a bad song. You just need to have a feel for that Slick Rick tone. He nailed the flow tbh.

Who said those are the only songs I liked? I enjoyed the project from top to bottom.

I also liked Nasir. Idk, if Drake fans can enjoy his last few projects, and Ye stans can enjoy ye and JIK, and Jay-Z fans can enjoy Magna Carta and that Carters album, and so on.. then we can have those albums.

My fav artists don't have to put out classics every time.

i'm just speaking on what @NasEscobar said he still bumps

    this is NAS

i expect more from one of the greatest rappers ever

    i'm sorry

I mean, the greatest rappers ever are either dead, retired or drop duds.

No one even remembers that Dec 99th project Mos did for example.

And even if they drop great music, e.g. Common.. most people just don't give a f***, or call it "boring" anyway bc their style is not popping anymore.

Yes but new album might be better lets see

Just know nasir was a horrid album and a huge missed shot at a classic

  • Aug 14, 2020

I still stand by NASIR being good, not as great as it should've been obviously but it's solid.

and this is why Jay is the GOAT

i could make a case that 4:44 is his best album

and that album inspired a lot of people

    it shook s***

and before that Magna Carta was a big deal because of the business behind it

but don't sleep on the flows on there either

i'd rather listen to that than anything post life is good tbh

    Magna Carta was trash

    So was The Blueprint 3

The Carters album was mid and people forgot about it quickly.

You're just biased towards Hov, it's okay and you have your reasons, no one is truly objective in this music fandom s***.

Honestly it was a Kanye project using Nas' voice as a vessel.

Ye said braggadocious Nas is his fav so that was what we got. If Nas' flow was off, it was Ye's job as the producer to tell him to do better.

Most of Jay's hits are carried by a feature lol

He'd have to use his songs with Beyonce, Rihanna, Justin Timberlake and so on.. vs. Nas' pure hip hop songs.

    Doesn't sound very entertaining.

I'd rather see Nas vs. Ghostface.
