Just something that hit me randomly after listening to Eminem sample Ha on his new album, so went and listened to a lot of big tymers/cash money/hotboyz old s*** and this dude produced some of the most iconic songs of the late 90s early 2000s?

He’s one of my favorite producers oat
I’ve spoken about it a few times on here but man he has such a unique style, a lot of his tracks aged well imo
Nobody has been able to replicate his style either
Guerrilla Warfare, 400 Degreez, Chopper City in the Ghetto are classics

top five
of course
wish someone would tap back into this sound instead of just jacking neptunes sound for the umpteenth time
i grew up on cash money mannie fresh is not even top 10 but rather top 3 he's still such a rarity in today's game because back then in mannie's day producers did literally everything from scratch from production to engineering for an entire team the work he put in to get to where he is today is so alien and can't be touched or copied.
i heard soul samples being chopped by mannie well before kanye superceded it, it would be insane to say mannie isn't in a conversation when it comes to producing at all.
He’s one of my favorite producers oat man. Those cash money albums all sound so great even to this day, and you have incredible replay value.

I just had this conversation with somebody 2 days ago literally. The fact he was producing ALL them songs for cash money and the hot boys, and is soooo influential, he for sure is
