Did you seek counselling after witnessing this shrimp d***?

Yeezus was a mental and emotional elixir at the time, whether or not I have shrimp d*** traumas to unpack has yet to be determined

    Jay Z of the South

    BBC

    Piccaso Baby
    Tom Ford

    I ain't even mad

Thing that's always been a small gripe for me is some of bbc being clean

MCHG was fine. I think the narrative that Jay-Z has “bad albums” needs to stop

Just because an album is less than perfect doesn’t make it garbage. MCHG def had a few obvious flaws but the majority of the project was very solid and is still a lot of fun to go back to.

Same could be said for the other releases people like to call out as “bad jay-z albums” such as BP2, Kingdom Come, BP3 etc. They get a lot of hate because they aren’t flawless masterpieces but don’t let people fool you, those albums have a lot more replay value than rap nerds give them credit for.

BP2 and 3 are actually fire like 70% of the songs in each are ones you can go back to consistently. Kingdom Come and Vol 3 only albums of his I think are just not very good

For me there are only two skips on Vol 3, “Things that You Do” and “Pop 4 Roc” Everything else is absolute fire

3 skips on “Kingdom Come”, “Anything”, “Hollywood”, & “Dig a Hole”. The rest is literally some of Jay-Z most introspective s*** to date.

Literally something to love about every Jay-Z album

kingdom come's good parts are some of his best lyrics but it's so inconsistent. vol 3 just never jived with me aside from watch me, snoopy track, big pimpin, and anything
