Oh there’s serious dislike for MMLP? Crazy

  • Jun 5, 2021

all eminem sucks, but to say nobody listens is laughable

  • Somehow KTT is under the impression becsuse they don't like Eninem, he somehow isn't still the biggest hip hip artist of all time.

  • Eminem not even top 20 to me, but sslp and mmlp will always be revisited by me. Classic albums.

  • Only the purple album is good

  • math fifty

    Niggas keep testing him

    This song is f***ing perfection.

Seriously, if you can't f*** with this, something is wrong with YOU breh it's not the world.

It's not like only a bunch of white losers made him the biggest selling rapper that ever lived. Or else half of his sons would've made it big too

In 2021, he's still not even that bad compared to the s*** yall push on here. But yeh a 49 year old em is not nearly as good as he was in his late 20's lmao

But if you're saying peak eminem is trash then that's yall in the minority. Not f***ing with it is acceptable, saying his first 3 albums aren't classics is just rewriting history

He just suffers from a case of not knowing what the hell to talk about lol

I agree with that to an extent. There was a period of like 6 years where every song would have something right with it and then another two things wrong with it. If his flow was on point, his content was s***, if the verse was fire, the hook was trash.

Middle aged eminem is a weird artist to a***yze without a bias.

I think his main regression is a combo of him not having s*** to really talk about and him not using the bass Brothers tbh. They did alot of his production in his prime. His content used to be reflect on his life, his anger and his angst, his troubled past and his family. You could really feel the emotion in everything he was saying.
Nowadays man, he's reached the peak of what a rapper can achieve. His legacy is cemented and he'll forever remain in the Hall of Fame. He doesn't talk about family issues, those are mostly resolved nowadays. He doesn't wanna drag his family on his music and cause distress for them. Back then he really just didn't give a f***. Now it's just rapping about rapping and success. But he had a very distinct sound back then as well

    How are they classics

Because every one of the best rappers today use those albums as an influence. They remain relevant through success and influence over 20 years later. Kendrick Cole and Drake all are influenced by Em and have said so themselves. What metric are you using? Because you don't like it?

  • Hell nah MMLP still sounds hard

I haven’t listened to it in a while but I also haven’t went back to some classics in a while

His delivery and flow still sound god tier on MMLP…. I wish he still had that same cadence and delivery

  • Actually that’s a very solid album. It’s fun midwest horrorcore type music with great rhymes and a ton of personality.

Of course the jokes didn’t age well but it’s something I’ll still throw on every blue moon and get a lot of enjoyment from.

I’m not gonna throw it on at the party but nothing wrong with going back to it.

MMLP was cool when I was a teenager, but I aint trying to bump horrorcore and rape lyrics past 17
