s*** i slander him all the time but i can easily respect the early work

I don’t listen to Eminem either but as you alluded to he was an integral part of hip hop and people are really exposing themselves trying to rewrite history

  • eminem show and 8-mile the only em albums i can enjoy in any sense

    The Eminem show tbh

Another sad attempt to rewrite history but it never works against Eminem, Eminem is uncancellable. and I don't even like him lmao.

Yeah I was gonna say I might like SSLP and TES better as full projects but MMLP's best tracks are reaaally good. The Way I Am, Stan, and D*** Ballad

    A Mad Ass Nigga

    The Eminem show tbh

    Both for different reasons

SSLP was the only album where he wasn’t complaining about being the best selling rapper of all time

TES is still the peak mature eminem album and feels like the ultimate culmination of his entire artistic persona up until 2005 when he retired

i enjoy both for very different reasons

on apple music, more people are listening to this than gkmc

  • Jun 4, 2021

I still play it every now and then. I've definitely played it a ton throughout my lifetime.

I don't really play albums from before 2010 like that anymore. I've heard them enough by now.

em is top 3 most talented we've ever heard

and his run is one of the greatest

but the listenablity of his music is a big wildcard

and it's why he won't be ranked higher than his contemporaries

Whoa. I like Em but chill with the "we."

There's way too many talented rappers out to say "we."

    But he's definitely talented.
