Ay man I feel that but at the same time we seen the man in your avi slap a woman on camera, and a lot of them rappers from the 90s were pretty messed up.
Big Pun one of the greatest to do it and one of my favorite artists but he also put hands on his woman.
I see what you mean but I was referring to the fact that “his lyrics aint age well” argument never applies to other rappers in his generation just him

Bobby_96It's also subjective. Prime Wayne and Lupe blew my mind more than Em even back then but you'd probably would disagree with me.
It also depends on who resonates with you more because there's many qualities that make a talented rapper. DMX wasn't technical like that but he had one of the best mic presences ever.

extremely influential in my lifei think lupe has better concepts and metaphors pretty clearly
i think wayne's run was one of the most prolific and charismatic eras
at the end of the day, it all depends on what traits we value more personally
so i would agree that it is subjective in that way
but i think it'd be interesting if we got to the point of being able to measure who truly is / was the greatest
