Is Nigerian BBQ underrated & undefeated?
I've noticed that people going to these spots lately. Especially in Upper NYC, lot of stands and restaurants pertaining to Nigerian BBQ are getting a lot more traction
Will it become bigger than before?
And if so, what are your favorite Nigerian BBQ meals and dishes?

We'll see. It's weird I don't feel Jamaican food is as desired as it used to be
But that's probably me
I’m willing to try if I run into a spot, I’m not in New York tho I’m in Texas, might be harder to get a spot to pop down here

jamaican food has already been commodified atp from frozen patties to various chain restaurants. none of their other staple dishes have taken off into the zeitgeist either.
whereas suya (and west african / naija cuisine at large - jollof, egusi, fufu, etc) have been growing in popularity for awhile now. earlier this month;

haven't tried much, just relaying what ive noticed.
jollof^ is rice with a mellow tomato profile, people itt expressed their thoughts on suya - and then egusi and fufu is a soup / soft starch combo that seems to have the taste of earthy stewed vegetables. u can watch ppl try whatever on youtube n get the gist
i'd start with nigerian^ / ghanian / ethiopian^ food then branch out
