easily the best song on nostalgia, ultra in my opinion

it's the earliest sign i remember when channel orange blew my face off. i remember thinking "where the f*** did this guy come from" because nostalgia ultra wasn't especially impressive to me at the time

but yeah, novacane is one of the catchiest breakout songs i can remember from an artist this decade. (this was my first "heard it once and stuck in your head forever" frank song) - and because of the journey frank fans have gone on, it's kinda special for that novelty

when i think about all the ways my taste has changed and matured and widened, it's funny how ur music priorities (for me, melody) can change or stay the same depending on genre/quality
