I feel like his discog doesnt have any classic albums but the highs are good enough to put him into that "Legend" class of artists.
Hes worked with some of the best talent in the game and has pretty much scored a hit record with every official release. The Lloyd's and Mario's and Ne-Yo's of the world have long since stopped being relevant but O is still going and managed to avoid any smut on his name.
For an essentially independent artist, dude has been consistent for a long time and has managed to avoid the f*** s*** that could've totally derailed his career.
Give the boy Omarii his propers.
He couldved ended up like Marques.
Or even worse.....Raz B.
He was overshadowed by CB unfortunately, Touch a classic tho
But CB is such an a******.
Hes a talent but conducted himself like a child for much of his career

ehh not really tho

He embraced the bad boy image, but never matured with it, so most people older than him don't take him/his music seriously
The s*** with Chris Stokes couldve ruined O but somehow he managed to avoid it altogether.
@op you know that gif is Mario right?
No it isnt lol.
O bumrushed the stage at the end of Ross' BET Awards performance right after he signed to MMG
And Mario couldn't hit that move if his life depended on it lol.

Oh I always thought that was Mario lol
sophmore slump.. didn't know how to brand himself.. unremarkable.. a few hits during the mid 00s though and then he had that whole omarionxbowow duo thing going on for a while. Fizzled out with the rest of bow wow and dem

His sophomore album did good numbers too.
Edit: Nah, you're right, 21 didnt even go Gold. Ice Box the single did tho.
He got dropped after that album.and was supposed to sign to Young Money.
This is around the time Raz B was bugging out. He ended up not signing to YM and going independent. That 1st indy album wasnt too good.
His discography including B2Gay is better than Chris Browns but y’all not ready for that discussion

!https://youtu.be/bRmYk4M_rKk!https://youtu.be/YJYRl04Kqt4it seemed to be a rush release and I think most of its success came from the hype of his debut and the close proximity to his sophmore release. "Ice Box" was his highest peaking hit #12 and that propelled its sales and public engagement bringing in the revenue. He was considered an usher-lite.. Chris came shortly after and wreck shopped and it was a wrap after that.

I thought his team failed him around that time. All the drama surrounding TUG kinda left a bad aura around him.
And 21 flopping didnt help.
Ollusion was a bad album.

"ollusion was a bad album" - I don't even acknowledge it breh
He just don’t really got any personality to set him apart he got good songs but no style
Chris Brown stole his shine. Which is unfortunate because Omarion was much better in my opinion.
Brown is a once in a lifetime kinda talent but I think after O really took control of his career, hes been making really good R&B music that's gone under the radar for the most part.
Outside of Chris, none of O's contemporaries could perform like him. Dudes been a beast since the B2K days.

!https://youtu.be/1W4gim1RZhI!https://youtu.be/CgiX53hjAPc!https://youtu.be/6OihwykYdBcO is probably the most consistent of his peers. Miguel would be but he's not really his peer

This. Only reason CB is still relevant despite his past actions is mainly he caters primarily to his fanbase that grew with him before and his collabs with more current artists. Otherwise, he would've ended in Omarion's position today instead after the RiRi incident.
