    He does care. They uploaded a version of Rockstar with just the chorus looped over and over again to youtube to boost billboard points. Didn't stop at that either, they submitted the song to multiple playlists before it was even released so that they could secure their top spot.

    Both post and Cole don’t SHOW that they care about their charts but I definitely think they do. At the end of the day this what pays their bills, they definitely want to see numbers for their efforts

    Non-radio oriented artists have organic hits all the time. Just because you sign a label contract doesn’t mean you automatically want your music to chart highly. Labels care about artists selling lots of merchandise, bigger tours from clubs to stadiums and arenas, just profit basically

    If the job u work at cares about sales, then u do too if u care about job security.
