Yes bro! Been producing and gaining interest in python as well

    It feels good to create

Exactly man! Been wanting to learn these things for awhile but have had absolutely no time due to my class schedule, so I'm trying to take advantage of this time as best as I can.

Still learning the very basics of production, starting with GarageBand and might move to Ableton or Logic Pro soon, if you have any recommendations lmk.

What do u wanna do with python?

I live with 3 of my best friends (all brothers) and their family. It’s pretty chill. I work from home 9-5 and then we just vibe and play video games and watch movies every night.

It’s real cozy vibes if you’re with people you enjoy the company of

But for people who are alone I can understand why they would feel lonely/depressed

Nice lots of people start with garageband. Personally I just went straight with Ableton from the jump, and its everything I expected from a modern DAW. Its so intuitive which makes it fun to use in any headspace.
If youre thinking of sampling try to get a sampler plugin with its own vintage sound (like TAL sampler). Youll find it more rewarding than a stock sampler.

Regarding python, initially I wanted to funnel jobs listings into an rss feed so I dont have to look around everywhere, but most websites try to work against that, so python web scraping is a possible alternative. Learning it is a work in progress

This and all that frivolous s*** in OP cool for a good week or two tops. Niggas tryna get back to being productive and advancing in life, not living a month of free time like a child

Jeez man society got you so whipped into shape you can't enjoy a month of free time? My job been deemed essential work, but s*** I'd be lying if I said I wouldn't prefer chilling the house for a month

Yeah I'm gonna go with Ableton, thanks for the tip about sampling I'll try it. Definitely gonna play with sampling for a bit. Been inspired a lot by the sampling that artists like Nujabes use, but also been inspired by a lot of electronic sounds like Machine Girl, Aphex Twin, etc.

And about Python, that's smart! Been on the job hunt myself since I'm graduating next semester. I'm not yet where I wanna be with Python either, wanted to learn it so I could automate a bunch of reports and tasks that I do at my internship.

It's still a bit difficult to learn all these things at the same time even with the quarantine, but we got this! Won't have a time like this again so gotta make the best out of a bad situation.

I live with my wife and kid and honestly it's been fine. We were having some serious problems and were close to getting a divorce as recently as January but quarantine has brought us together. A lot less fighting about petty s*** that doesn't matter and we've been really supportive of each other. It's a good vibe most of the time.

Would absolutely hate to live alone in general, let alone during a lockdown. I get lonely pretty easily.
