KalamariFromPartyYour sentence doesn’t explain why it’s wrong. If those 10 people tried as hard as I did to get the consoles, they would have gotten them
The fact that I can get them shows that other people can too. They just aren’t willing to do what I’m willing to do for them so why is it bad that I should be able to make money off of the extra work that I had to put in to get them that other people aren’t putting in?

ChillaTo buy a bunch of them with the sole purpose of reselling them for profit is a wack move.
If you are using bots to purchase a bunch of them online then that's dishonorable. May not be illegal, but still wack. If you are purchasing them in an honorable way like everybody else and manage to get several consoles naturally then it's still tasteless but at least you are playing by the rules like everybody else.
Basically, it's not illegal but it's just wack. Some people genuinely want these consoles and been looking forward to them either for themselves or as gift for their kids/family, but because of scalpers these genuine people not only have to struggle a lot to get their hands on one but now they have to pay way more for it because some dude bought several just to profit off of the guy who genuinely wanted the console.

The truth that you dont want to admit is that... I am literally just working harder than those ppl that "genuinely" want one. And my hard work is being compensated for by the market
I was in line at a walmart and bought the very last one. This girl was behind me and couldnt get one . I told her she could drive to a store 20 minutes away and get one bc they still had stock
I drove there and got another one... she didnt. thats her fault not mine. that doesnt make my actions wrong bc other ppl arent willing to do what i do

If you got them by standing in line at the stores like everybody else then at least you're playing by the rules. One of my issues with it is when people buy several quantities only to make profit off of those who genuinely want the console. For example, I'm a big Nintendo fan and was genuinely looking forward to the release of the Nintendo Switch in 2017. It would be pretty wack if I would have to buy it for a much higher price off of a guy who bought several of them just to make a profit off of my desperation. Scalping might not be illegal but it can still feel a bit dishonorable imo.

The whole point is, 10 other people would be playing in their PS5 rn after paying the normal price, but instead some a****** has them, and is reselling them for a much higher price.
Its not that hard to think about. You made your money, good for you...its still "morally wrong"
