  • Title. i want it, but i heard it's a little skimpy on content for the pricepoint. I'm a big RE fan, but I don't know if I wanna shell out $60 for a game I can beat in 5 hours that has a supposedly half-baked multiplayer component.

Think of it like the OG's which funnily enough was the same situation

Its still a great game but not as good as 2

Havent played it tho so take my opinion with a grain of salt

    Am also an RE fanboy

The first half of the game is an adrenaline rush then it gets stale once you get to the underground area. The cut content doesn't bother me as much as when I first found out, but some things (park, clock tower interior, grave digger boss) could've made the game a bit longer and added more variety. The drain deimos feel cheap because they die in one shot and are smaller compared to the OG. Nemesis only stalks you in a couple areas in the first section of the game, otherwise it's scripted setpieces. This game is worth buying but not for $60. Tho I don't regret paying full price because I've been anticipating this for a while. If you like silly over the top action and funny dialogue, I think you'll enjoy it.

i think i'm gonna wait tbh. it doesn't seem to be nearly as good as the re2 remake, and for a game that is as allegedly short as it is, i'd be kinda pissed spending $60 on it

  • its 5 hrs. should've been dlc.

Play as Jill or Carlos in the lost Clock Tower episode, dlc coming in 2 months

if you like re-playing things over and over maybe. but for non-psychopaths, nah. i bought re2 full price and kinda felt like it was worth it, but i think im gonna wait for a sale this time around.
