I feel like it was a prequel to what MOTM3 woulda been if it came out around that time

I don't see how it can really connect much to the state Cudi was ultimately in when the album came out

I always thought like Indicud should be the MOTM 3

Tbh since after motm II everything released helped shape the sound the he did on MOTM III

I think that throughout the project there is definitely moments & themes to bridge 2 & 3 but also the fact that it came out 7 years prior puts a damper on how well of a bridge it could be.
He was in a different place musically at that point as well as mentally.
It’s clear that MOTM3 back then was going to be more in line with the sounds of 1

It may not sound like a prequel to MOTM3 nowadays, I still play it before it due to my love for that album. I will always Stan Satellite Flight to I die.
