Blueprint 2 I grew up with Kingdom Come so I feel a lil differently than most about it but yeah I def don't play it as much as the earlier stuff.
I feel that then. That nostalgia different. I haven't listened to Get Rich or Die Tryin' in like 12 years because the whole fam used to take drives listening to it and I'm afraid it's actually mid
I can't forget Kingdom Come happened...and that s***ty ass second disc on Blueprint 2...or Blueprint 3, that was some bullshit too.
kingdom come really not that bad looking back i feel like people hated cus it came after black album and the whole retirement thing

I'm about to go listen to it now because I only heard it once when it came out
He's solidified at this point with multiple classics.
There's people who are at the top now who don't even have one.
As long as Kendrick always delivers he can do whatever tf he wants.

It's okay
Kendrick is literally out of the conversation. Only stans and out-of-the-loop critics would state otherwise.
Focusing on the albums and not the artists, I put Black Messiah in the same class as:
Common - Black America Again
Prince - Musicology
Prince - Rainbow Children
These ones are a step below but still slappin
Charlie Bereal - 11:11
Basement Membrane - Punk Funk
Lady Wray - Piece Of Me
Marcus King Band - Self Title
Adrian Younge - Discography.
Lupe Fiasco when he raps over live production.
There are some more but that’s off top.

Who you referring to?
kendrick will never be appreciated until he's gone
very seldom have we seen someone who respects the art of hip hop to its core and bring that essence of the genre to the mainstream
Kanye West Out Now
Oxnard is enjoyable for what it is but I can see why it turned people off, especially if they'd only heard Malibu before. Ventura I can say is his most polished project to me, I think it's excellent. And Silk Sonic is just great music.
the singles since Ventura have been shaky tho but Lockdown is myyyyyy s***
I'm giving up hope on the Yes Lawd! follow up lol but his next solo album is gonna be outta hereee.
I'd rather have one or two great albums over a five year span than two mid "mixtapes" and a trash album in the span of 6 monfhs.
This is why Kendricks last album is called DAMN.
Cuz he didn’t tell anyone he’s done and that’s gonna be everyone’s response
Yea tbh BM is Dangelos Silk Sonic. Prince renditions and extended works of Voodoo
Bruh said Kendrick still behind mothafuckin Rick Ross...
Really Ross has 1 potentially 2 classic albums. Kendrick is a better writer, sure, but Ross has way more charisma, and to me personally is more enjoyable to listen to.
Said the same thing above. Have ya heard the 2 prince albums yet? They don’t typically make folks radar but they’re the same level as BM.
Same with Marcus King Band, Glasper etc.
people call KSG a Ye album? it's a KSG (Ye and Cudi) album...and AWT is a Jay Electronica album.
i never got how that was confusing to some lol
Cudi did the heavy lifting on 99% of the project
