i wouldnt call solace an album tf
Earl called it an album. I take an artist’s word for these things because there’s not an objective standard of what an album has to be. If I remember correctly there’s like 7 tracks on it (3 vocal and 4 instrumental?) so if Ye can do it earl can

when he call it an album
when he call it an album
Somewhere in this interview. This was a little before Solace dropped. He mentions that he just made an album that he’s proud of, announces the title and says it’s an album for his mom or the type of music that she would like or something along those lines

The word loosie refers to a song that isn’t on a project, I’ve never heard a project like a mixtape or an EP get called a loosie just because they’re not on streaming. When Solace dropped it was just a little bit before streaming fully took over so back then it wasn’t like today how if it’s not on streaming it doesn’t exist. Solace is a project in itself so it’s not loose, it’s Earl’s 4th album. It’s not on streaming because Earl either couldn’t clear the samples or didn’t want to wait/pay to clear them
lowkey better than anything on DAMN
High key more impressive display than people’s whole discographies
