Maybach Music series still my favorite series in HipHop hands down.. these records are untouchable production-wise (except for the chapter five which is the only one not produced by Justice League and personally was a big letdown) ..really the peak of luxury hiphop. There are also interesting stories about these records for example the instrumental of Sixteen was supposed to be Maybach Music V and somewhere there is also an original version of Maybach Music V with another instrumental which features Bobby Womack. It was supposed to be on Mastermind but Ross shelved it when Womack died in 2014. Still hope to hear it one day.

It’s also a shame that Ross couldn’t include the Pusha T verse on chapter six because he reportedly received a call from Wayne’s camp that prevented him from putting the complete version out last minute..
