I mean it doesn’t take believing in a religion to understand whether or not a belief’s primary texts affirm themselves as the literal word of god or not

Jesus imo was a pure vessel for the word of God but unfortunately he did not write anything down himself. We only know of what was said through written accounts from years later. Many not in the original spoken language
Its a lovely test of spiritual discernment. What you believe is an indication of where you are on this journey to reconciliation with the most high.
