  • It really might be fr

    Iconic singles

    Amazing album cuts

This Album + the first couple thursday records kickstarted a revolution man, I fully believe this album set the stage as a jumping point for MCR, FFTL, etc to take over the world

  • The Taste of Ink still goes crazy

  • Honestly, maybe

Not really my personal taste but this is an important ass album

Does post hardcore require the emo style vocals?

I struggle with these sub genres sometimes

  • I saw them live a few months ago and even though they had a new album out (or was coming out soon?) they mainly played their earlier stuff.

Which was nice since their first two albums are goated for sure; glad they're still around after 20 years or whatever so I was able to see them live lol

It was also cool seeing a mix of both a lot of older fans and younger fans.

    glassjaw better

  • Wasn’t my cup of tea but everyone around me was loving this s*** when it dropped, including my sister who switched up her entire style and looked hilarious as the lightskinned scene girl with face piercings and dyed hair

Only song I really like by them is the bird and the worm but they’re under appreciated for how they ran s*** during their time

  • Lol not even close, but definitely an emo classic

No, that's just the times. Some phc bands are instrumental

  • It’s Saturday afternoon the music lovers are outside

  • Uh no lmao. At The Drive entire discog clears. Fugazi entire discog clears. Unwound clears.

The Used probably isn’t even a top 50 post hardcore band (if you can even call them that)

That makes sense. I felt stupid as f*** trying to Google up this genre when I've been listening to it since downtown battle mountain in 2007 lol

Idk why I'm so bad with hardcore subgenres, they screw my brain up for some reason

not my favorite but my brother in law has been getting me into them recently lol, almost always love the instrumentals but im not crazy bout the vocal style

It gets tricky with anything "post" Never forget the whole movement that was and is "post metal doesn't exist" that bag of worms is an uroboros

  • Relationship of command top 1 sadly

  • As far as most underrated Post hardcore albums ever. Easily this

    It’s Glassjaw’s Worship and Tribute

Leaves Turn Inside You is the best post-hardcore album.

Fugazi's self-titled EP is probably my favorite release in the genre. Just a phenomenal little collection of songs.
