understand what lol I originally thought he isn't capable of selling out a stadium tour, he's doing well on the east coast rn but my worry about the tour was always in the less populated areas, that's where issues will arise. Just like they did for Jay & Beyonce in 2015

We’ve already had an instance of that in Philly, and he sold that out lol
We’ll see what happens 2 weeks from now in Detroit, but as of rn he is 5/5
Also lol @ moving the goalposts to selling out the entire tour
Title says “Is The Weeknd even capable of selling out stadiums?”

exactly lol
he's the first hiphop/r&b artist to do it since eminem g
Kanye did it off of listening parties alone.
that's revenue yeah, profit on $25 tickets is gonna be very low. Normally these artists charge $100-200
niggas about to bring out the balance sheet!!! get a grip
exactly, because he wasn't selling them out lol, they always do that. Because it's embarrassing if there's loads of empty seats. Ideally you'd want every seat sold out at $100+ obviously
No.

with all the L's that needed to be handed out we could set up a business
trying to laugh at an artist cause they dropped prices to more affordable ones for fans will always be wack, especially if those tickets fly off the shelf as soon as they're more affordable. and especially now during inflation, which has noticeably hurt concert sales across the board.
people are struggling rn and there's a glut of choices post-quarantine since everybody back on tour, and folks only got but so much money.
