Cole plays it too safe. He thinks just rapping over loops is still enough these days. There's no dynamics to his music. He's not good enough of a rapper to just put out a album of half freestyles and call it a day. Hell no one is really. Gotta do more. Gotta come harder on all fronts.

SBTH wasn’t good, but at least Cudi was doing something different. Hate for people who are trying to shift the paradigm is shorter lived than people who keep doing the same thing over and over

Totally Serious. I like cole. KOD is good. FHD is almost perfect and The Warm is great too his other albums had great songs but I'm not feeling The Off Season.
