Like with orchestras?

How orchestras have layers and layers of the instruments that add more depth & thump/boom to their live performance.

A band is usually like 3 to 7 people.

But are there versions of bands or concerts when they have an "ensemble-like" set up with multiple upon multiple layers and organization?

Doesnt even have to be thats how the band is from the beginning. Like imagine a Swans or Pink Floyd songs at a special concert where they make it for this event the "ensemble-like" layers upon layers of instrument players to make their music even bigger, powerful & "alive" than ever before.

Kinda like Orchestra renditions of regular songs in Rap, Pop, Rock etc. or videogame music where they do special events of playing them in Orchestra format with the full ensemble and depth - but instead of switching out for the Orchestra instruments, you still keep the Rock instruments and whatever else & you just layer them upon each other along with the set up of an ensemble for acoustics and to not make it clutter itself.

That would be wild
