I bought the new Switch and I hacked my old one just to be safe because I don't want my account with all the games I paid for to get banned, I use the new switch to play my old games and play online etc and the old one for downloading games also bought a 500gb sd card lol and I ended up downloading like 30 games already
If u end up hacking it create a new account and don't use the one you bought games with and make sure you keep your console on flight mode so you don't get caught because if they ban your console you can never update it anymore and u won't be able to connect to the internet, some consequences but I think it's worth it if u just wanna get rid of the console anyway

damn idk that sounds like a lot to worry about to risk losing all the games I bought but honestly I guess after you crack it it doesnt matter unless you wanna play online right?

smh I dont think theres any games coming in the near future or now besides luigis mansion to warrant me keeping the switch so ima probably just sell it and end up emulating luigis mansion on my pc

might have to check it out, my friend was just telling me about how often the game updates and meta changes and that kind of turned me off cause im not tryna like study all the time about the game

I don't know much about it since I just recently did it myself like a month ago but you can run the Switch with the original homebrew anytime so u will be able to still play online I'm not sure if u can still get caught but I ended up getting another Switch because better safe than sorry
Try doing more research about it if u end up doing it tho
