honestly, i've been tempted to quit the internet all together. it's like 50 % of everything i see is A.I. generated, and it will only get worse. I honestly believe the internet has died, or will die in the coming years. I've been reading books for the first time in years for god sake

honestly this place, as bad as some of the takes or attitudes may tend to be in certain parts, feels much more human than all the other social medias i frequent.

It’s what keeps me coming back. 14 years since I joined KTT1 and as dumb as this place can be, it’s the last bit of old internet I’ve got

after the AI hype dies down a bit there will be slop filters in every browser probably. gonna hurt the tech overlord pockets if nobody wants to use this s*** anymore.

Social media is unbearable with the slop. Discord and the last remaining forums feel like the only bastions for non-AI, but even then we might get some chatbots invading the forums sometime. Just depends on the costs, but if KTT2 doesn't become another RYM and remains underground, the site'll probably remain fine from AI posts
