Both 10/10 of course but I truly think I’m In It is just a better musical production. I think it’s nothing short of genius tbh, while HML doesn’t move me quite the same way.
Anyone else feel this way?
I have to ask this question in the cautious way that I do because I feel like you guys gas up HML like it redefined music or something. I mean it’s good, but s*** it’s not THAT good.
Discussion.
I'm In It is a straight slapper. Nothing wrong with preferring it. You gon catch that heat when you claim it's "better" though.
Not really a hot take,
Personally I think I like HML better but the difference between the two isn't enough for me to really disagree with someone about it
Although I’m In It isn’t in my top 5 it’s def top 10. HML just makes me feel way different because I resonate more towards emotional, introverted musIc, so the song itself just being in a minor key plays a huge part in the emotional value it has for me. The verse is obscure (in the same sense that Street Lights is) so it’s very easy to attach your own personal story to the scene Kanye describes. And then his combined singing with Justin Vernon juxtaposed with Chief Keef’s rough vocals. And the guitar outro.
But like you said they’re both 10/10.
I'm in it is fantastic... but Hold My Liquor is a masterpiece
The Keef Feature
The Mike Dean Guitar Solo
B**** IM BACK OUT MY COMA
I know ya hate edits for some reason but that yeezus extended version of I'm in it is one of the best things I heard
with the piano in the bg during ye's last verse
And the extended outro
the last verse of im in it >>>
UH
Assassin + Vernon vs. Mike Dean solo -- who you got?
Chief Keef + Vernon + Mike Dean

i feel the exact same way. hold my liquor is cool but i never felt as strongly as everyone else seemed to about it
I’m in It used to be my favorite Yeezus track. Over the past few years HML and Black Skinhead passed it, but I wouldn’t say it’s a bad take. I’m in Its song structure is so unique and I love how the chorus evolves throughout the song
