So what's the end game here?

Yeah, competition is good and all but when the whole industry beefin?

Are they gonna make up when all is said and done?

I'm gonna say, the darkest period of NY was when everybody was dissing each other there.

S*** gonna end when that nuke gets dropped #noww3

Definitely, but again most people don’t pay attention to all that, and Kendrick could easily bring it up like a “No U”, but I doubt Drake is completely oblivious too it so I’d be shrouded if he has nothing else.

yeah, the delivery and how he said it has people going. I also think before he even dropped anything people are riled up. Like That is a good song but it has no reason to be 3x #1 on hot 100. I want good bars, this personal bs aint it especially when they aint about that life but thats where its going.

This won’t affect any sales negatively outside of someone getting genuinely concretely exposed for being on some pedo/diddy s***. The end game for Drake and Kendrick is to prove their number one. The end game for one part of the hip hop core is to knock Drake down from his spot (and embarrass him) as Kendrick is the closest to him when you combine commercial and rapping skill. I think people underestimate how much people hate or only tolerate Drake outside of maybe when his song comes out at a party. There’s a large portion of hip hop fans that think he’s a fake wannabe and annoying, so just seeing him lose will be more than gratifying.

    Different alliances

Instead of the same features on every album you’ll probably see drake collaborate with lesser known or rising artists more like Yeat, 4batz, or with his current crew 21 savage and Yachty

To be fair I don’t know what higher ups Drake is talking about . He makes whoever he’s with money, is the most popular rapper, and is surprisingly very respected by a lot of older/legendary rappers. If anything it’s shocking how much respected rappers f*** with him despite how much “hiphopheads” are conflicted with him.

Metro got it the worst. He’s not a rapper so he can’t do anything except leak s*** like the Yatchy reference.

Not what he’s saying lmao he’s just saying drop to respond egging Kendrick on. Ya’ll love misconstruing everything.

That could be true, but he has a history of setting clocks for his opponents so I dont think its too crazy of a misunderstanding
