I don't get anyone suggesting Kendrick won't respond. Drake mentioned his wife's name on purpose to provoke him. It's a couple other lines in Drake's diss that are very dismissive and insulting. That's all to get him to respond with the nastiest s*** ever because it feels like Drake's just itching to drop what he's got on Kendrick. It's very clear he's a lot more prepared going into this battle than he was with Push and I'm very happy about that.

Not sure if this is true, because most of us said Kendrick's verse was decent. Only thing people said was that it wasn't lethal enough to require drake to release a full diss track after 3 days

Just not good song. Beat wasn't doing it for me long ass verses no classic hook and people having to go all Rap Genius to try explain all the shots -- classic diss track speak for themselves and great song too. Just my opinion

I don't think felt anything hit as hard as him revealing Adonis. Push didn't say anything about Drake's parents, 40's health or Drake and how he feels about mixed race that Drake hadn't already rapped or talked about extensively. And it's a lot of s*** in Push's diss that were flat-out lies but whatever.

Agreed but you think Kendrick was ready for Drake to have more in the clip like this? Drake claiming to know about the diss for 4 years and that end snippet gotta have them thinking I’d guess

Kendrick has never gone toe to toe in a beef. It’s always been a line or two here or there spanning years in between. It’s just a marketing exercise to help his relevancy.

There’s no reason to think he has the skill to go bar for bar like that either. If you’re really a fan of Rap - and I don’t mean raps on instrumentals - you’d know Drizzly got the bars like that, he’d put excellent rounds together. Kendrick would be a snoozefest. He is more a storyteller than a puncher and he’s very one-dimensional (apart from the weird voices).

I agree like I said earlier what can anybody say that ain't been ran into the ground I'm bored if the bbl abs and the other generic drake insults I guess they can come with the grooming allegations but even that's getting old too I just don't think he can be caught off guard by anything like Addidon.. kudos to push for preparing him lol 👏🏾
