I grew up in a town that has a lot of surrounding farms in the 2000s, and a fruit the that grew there that didn't seem to get much mainstream love at the time was the mighty avocado 🥑. Fast forward about a decade later and avos have become one of the biggest celebrities of the food world.

All while avocados are having their day in the sun, farmers in my small farming town have been silently clearing out forests and vegetation to make way for their next hit in the superfood market, the Macadamia nut. Could we see the macadamia become to zoomers what the avocado was to millennials?
