@1:48 Interviewer quotes on what martin skreli said about rza when they met.

eh it’s not that bad
like s*** was definitely hostile but he praised him at the same time as well
hmmmmm. I forgot about this s***.
This might kinda make me rethink my position on NFTs. Cause I can definitely see some artists taking it to this level. And that aint cool.

Yeah.
See the thing about NFTs is I understand leak culture (dont know why these rap niggas dont be protecting they files in they own personal harddrive away from these clout chasing amateur ass engineers) playing a part in this. Niggas gotta make they money but the thing is, I dont think the value of music should be compared to the value of art.
Like part of what made music beautiful is the fact the value came from how widespread and accessible the product was. Especially when the origins of the popular genres like hip hop came from the poor. It wasnt boujee ass Rza type niggas like the art scene. (Or it wasn’t shaped into that. I dont wanna put all artists in that box out of respect)
Yeah you could buy an art piece for 200k to one nigga. But 200k+ niggas could cop an independently released musical work of art and it’s the same (imo, more meaningful value).
