Getting solid reviews so far and I’m always in for Will Arnett
People always hate on Cooper for being a try hard but at least he tries. I didn’t hate Maestro

The promo leading up to maestro was hilarious

Lol that’s true and I don’t think it deserved all those noms but it was solid
Will either be complete garbage or fun low stakes
I haven’t seen a single scathing or even that negative review, but I also haven’t seen one above 3.5 or 7ish. Seems like it’s very likely in that range
Will either be complete garbage or fun low stakes
Feels like the latter based on early reception (NOT first reactions BS)
This and Marty Supreme double feature on Christmas...
Don’t think any theater experience will ever rival seeing Django Unchained in a packed theater on Christmas Day.
Really enjoyed this. All around a pretty great watch. Kind of felt like Bradley cooper wrapped shooting silver linings playbook and took what he learned from David o’Russel and decided to direct a movie, but in a good way. Also felt like cooper kind of wanted to cast himself as the lead but ended up going in a different direction. Really enjoyed Arnett and Derns performances and cooper was good in the scenes he was in. 8/10

I believe Cooper was originally the lead

Interesting. Kind of makes sense. The whole time I kept thinking it he l felt like It was meant for him but glad they went with arnett. He brings a weird kind of dry likability to the character

Don't think so. Seems like this whole movie was an opportunity to work with his old friend Will Arnett. Doesn't read like a Cooper movie otherwise.
favorite Cooper directed movie to date (did not care for his first two) Will and Laura have great chemistry
