He did. 808s doesn't have many samples.

I don't really care anyway. Kanye isn't that good.

808s actually has a couple of samples. My nigga how are you talking like this when Google is just a tab away

It can be. Timbo didn’t really flip those creatively he just ripped them completely

Sometimes samples are so good it doesn’t need much, the drums make it knock. Always better when samples aren’t known well

What is your argument here? That it is a good thing because hip hop is based on it?

The beats still sound more better than most of the music industry

This is actually a good example of f***ing over the little guy. Hip hop producers find unknown songs from much smaller artists, pay them to use the work and take credit. Believe me these hip hop producers are taking credit whether it be directly or indirectly.

Nobody reading credits. You have to go out of your way to do that, and everybody knows this.

SO RAP SHOULD JUST STOP SAMPLING

    Not Like Josuke

Properly give credit to artists you sample, by not sampling them at all.

I remember being young and uneducated and vilifying sampling

And then I realized that there is a significant difference in vibes that these two songs give off despite using similar instrumental portions in their respective songs

That’s the point of sampling imo

THIS, ALL OF THIS. NO LIES

People that don't understand what sampling is or how even straightforward use of a sample requires artistic insight and talent to change the context and genre of the original work should not be allowed to vote

Cow gets joy from this. He's been doing it in the video game section for years, now he's in the music section just saying stuff he doesn't necessarily believe to get a reaction from the site Not a bad guy imo, sometimes his voice messages can be funny

You have provided no argument. You see, when you participate in an argument with me, you must know I am right and you are wrong. You have feelings, I know that, but understand I do not give a f***. You can take your butthurt feelings elsewhere and come back for a real discussion like men. Until then, you can stay out of my office with butthurt. You're dealing with the manliest of men in the realm of workplace debates. We don't back down, and we certainly never admit to being wrong. You know why? Because we are always right.

In the mid 2000s, I was an intern teaching CEOs how to effectively debate using the techniques of manly men. By the mid 2010s I had become the greatest debater on Wall street. Now I almost exclusively browse random office buildings looking for somebody who has yet to learn from me.

    Have a good day, fam.
