also why do y'all compare every artist to kanye like he's the ultimate artist
I dunno bruh. Maybe you should log off kanyetothe2.com and the answer might come to you.
Tyler gets way more of his influence from NERD,Pharrell,Eminem then anything. There isn't much about him that's straight up Kanye influenced.
Also its kinda funny that these dudes really just all his eras split up into their own person on some superhero multiverse s*** lmao
Tyler = MBDTF/LR
Travis = Yeezus
Chance = College Trilogy/Graduation
Drake = 808s and Heartbreak
Gambino = 808s / Yeezus
Travis is a mbdtf, 808s & yeezus baby
Mr. Sandman, bring us a Ye
With edgy lyrics that I’d never say
Give him ambitions of a fashion designer
But please no songs about lusting for minors!
Why do Kanye’s sons only take the nerdy s*** from him, theres so much untapped possible Kanye influence we’ve yet to see to help create dope new s***
Real asf for this, dudes go running to some plastic-y programmed tribal drums and call it a Kanye beat

He is
Another thing: I notice modern Tyler fans like to overrate Tyler's catalog.
In reality, he didn't drop a top tier album until Flower Boy and onward.
That's not to say that Goblin, Wolf, and CB are bad albums by any means but they're definitely not top tier and on the level of Tyler's later albums as bodies of work. They're better conceptually than musically.
And, even with that 3 Peat, it's dubious which albums should be considered classics. I'd say Flower Boy and Igor have a case but I'm not so sure about CMIYGL even though I love the album.
In many ways, Kendrick is kind of a Ye protege in terms of dropping impactful classics even though Kendrick's more of a lyricist while Ye's more of a producer/musician.
kanye was such a cultural force idk like there was something about him so authentic and honest even tho he was always an egoiste he had that child-like enthusiasm tyler is kinda a holier than thou d***head
His Gold Digger is She
His CTMN is Yonkers
Lol
she is a good song but you can’t put that nearly in the same level as a number one diamond selling single

I'm bullshitting
he checks everything off on the board but no. He doesn't have any global mainstream hits like Ye.
If him, Drake and travis scott fused together that would be the closet we have to a Ye West
We shouldn't be looking for the next MJ or next Prince or next Kanye. None of those guys were "the next ___". Maybe we're conditioned to love nostalgia and want remakes but truth is a remake will never hit the same. We need new innovation
nah Kanye is definitely new Beethoven
Only key difference though is that Ye had far more radio, club, and street appeal than Tyler ever did.
Tyler still doesn't have a Gold Digger or CTMN yet.
Tyler is more like late-stage Kanye (the version of Kanye that all the reddit nerds love the most). We ain't ever heard Tyler make a Graduation level album with all hits
I remember hearing flower boy for the first time while playing gta 5
I didnt rly like it but now i realize i was trippin back then
